As a Utility Groundworker, you support underground utility projects by performing essential groundworks, ensuring safe excavation around cables and pipelines, and assisting technicians during installations. You work outdoors in small teams and help maintain a clean and safe worksite. Safety and teamwork are central to this role.
- Carrying out groundworks on underground utility projects
- Excavating trenches and pits (manually or with machinery)
- Exposing and marking existing cables and pipelines for safe operations
- Backfilling trenches after cables or pipelines are installed
- Restoring paving and leaving the worksite clean and tidy
- Working in teams of typically 4–6 colleagues
- Performing outdoor tasks in various environments (residential, industrial, public spaces)
- Prioritizing safety in all activities

Your hard work should be rewarded. Therefore, as a Utility Groundworker you will receive the folowing:- A gross salary between €2.800,- and €3.200,-
- Single room accommodation
- 25 vacation days
- 8,33% holiday pay on top of your salary.
- Payment for plane tickets to your home country up to € 200,- every 13 weeks after 13 weeks of work

To start working as a Utility Groundworker, you need to have the followinig:- 3 years recent work experience in a similar job
- Preferably a VCA safety certificate
- Preferably certification to work with electrotechnic (VOP)
- A driving licence B (and a car is a plus)
